First Woman To Join Idaho Fish And Game Commission
The state Senate confirmed Nancy Hadley Hanson of Sandpoint as the first woman Idaho Fish and Game Commissioner on Tuesday.
Hanson, who also is the president of Sand-Ida Services, said being the first woman on the commission has no significance.
“I’m qualified for the position, and to me, being a woman isn’t a plus or minus,” she said last week after the Senate Resources and Environment approved her nomination.
Hanson said her goal is to represent sportsmen and people of Idaho.
