Post Falls Police Get Funds For Cameras
The U.S. Department of Justice has given $10,352 to the Post Falls Police Department to install two video cameras in patrol cars.
Lt. Scot Haug detailed the grant at a public hearing during a City Council meeting Tuesday night.
The hearing fulfills the grant’s requirement that an opportunity be given for public comment on the proposed use of the money.
All 16 patrol cars have the cameras, which help police in prosecuting cases, Haug said.
