Fans Honor Caray
Hundreds of fans formed a line three blocks long to pay final respects to Harry Caray.
“I honestly think the Cubs will win this year. We got spiritual help now. Harry Caray is our angel in the outfield,” said 45-year-old Michael Neary of Michigan City, Ind., who arrived at 9 a.m., 6 hours before the doors opened at Holy Name Cathedral for the 6-hour long visitation.
“Harry was just a people person. He could communicate with the common person. In Chicago, he was bigger than baseball,” Neary said.
