Man, 54, Found Shot Near Smelterville

A 54-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head was found by emergency crews in Smelterville Friday, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department said.

The man was taken by helicopter to Kootenai County Medical Center, where he was in critical condition late Friday.

The sheriff’s department refused to release any more details about the shooting. , DataTimes
