Police Say Wounded Man Shot Himself

A man found shot in the head in Smelterville pulled the trigger himself, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department said Saturday.

The 54-year-old man, whom deputies refused to identify, remained in critical condition late Saturday at Kootenai Medical Center.

He shot himself Friday with a .44-caliber revolver, deputies said. Further details were not available. , DataTimes
