Library Foundation Receives $200,000

A $200,000 bequest will help benefit the Coeur d’Alene Library Foundation.

The Emma Van Laken estate made the bequest, said Jon Hippler, foundation president. The library foundation has raised more than $325,000 since it was formed in 1995.

Most of the Laken funds will go for a new library building, Hippler said. , DataTimes
