Police May Have To Give Back Guns

Police will test-fire a half-dozen rifles seized from survivalist Stuart E. Schirmann to determine if they were illegally converted into machine guns.

If not, police may have to return the weapons and a large cache of ammunition and chemicals found in a shallow pit in Schirmann’s barn.

Detectives found six guns of Russian, Chinese and American origin and 70,000 rounds of ammunition and assorted machine-gun magazines and bullet clips.
