Aaron Hutchins scored eight of his career-high 32 points in overtime as Marquette snapped No. 21 Cincinnati’s 10-game winning streak with a 66-63 victory Thursday in Milwaukee.

Marquette (12-4, 3-3 C-USA) got two offensive rebounds late in overtime to seal the win. After Marcus West missed a shot, Brian Wardle got the rebound and called timeout with 17 seconds left.

Marquette set up its play, but did not expect an intentional foul to be called on the Bearcats (14-3, 6-1). Hutchins made one free throw to give his team a 65-63 lead.

The Golden Eagles retained possession and Cincinnati fouled West with 7.9 seconds left.

West made the first free throw for the three-point margin. On the miss, Mike Bargen tipped the ball back to Hutchins, who ran out the clock.

Marquette went scoreless for the first 4 minutes of the second half. The first points, a basket by Hutchins, ignited a 9-2 run to give the Golden Eagles a 37-34 lead.

(22) Rhode Island 73, Va. Tech 66

At South Kingstown, R.I., Joshua King scored 16 points and center David Arigbabu added a seasonhigh 14 as the Rams (13-3, 5-1 Atlantic 10) defeated the Hokies (6-9, 1-4).
