The City Council appointed people to citizen commissions and an ad hoc sign ordinance committee Tuesday night.

Diane Duncan, Bruce Brown and Rick Clutter were appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Nancy Haas and Kenn Goodrich were appointed to the library board.

Jana Tritto was appointed to the Public Safety Board.

Bob Townsend, Bob Kasun and Vicki Caughran were appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission.

John Richter and Richard Moore were appointed to the Urban Renewal Commission.

Danny O’Neal, Chris Martin and Dorothy Whitmire were appointed to the Urban Forestry Commission.

The council appointed the following people to the ad hoc sign committee: Councilman Clay Larkin, Councilman Joe Bodman, Planning and Zoning Commission members Larry Gilman and Mel Palmer, Post Falls Chamber of Commerce representatives Alan White and Joe Reeves and members of a previous sign committee, Randy Wells and Richard Moore. , DataTimes
