Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: My husband does the laundry in our household and usually does a pretty good job. But sometimes he forgets to take the clothes out of the dryer after the cycle is done and by the time I find them they’re all wrinkled.

Since neither of us has much time for ironing, I’ve found a quick and easy solution to the problem. I simply take a small dish towel, wet it, wring out the excess water and toss it in the dryer with wrinkled clothes. I then run the dryer for 10 to 15 minutes and the clothes come out wrinkle-free and looking great. - E. Ririe, San Antonio

Dear Heloise: I found myself needing a third hand last week to straighten a piece of plastic wrap I had just torn off the roll. No one else was around, so I put a short edge across the top of one of my kitchen-cabinet drawers, closed the drawer and pulled on the two remaining corners. The plastic wrap was straight and ready to use. - Deborah Christman, Groveland, Ill.
