4 Teenagers Arrested On Mail Theft Charges
Four teenagers were arrested Tuesday evening on theft charges after neighbors caught them stealing mail from dozens of boxes, sheriff’s deputies said.
The teens - a 17-year-old girl and three boys ages 14, 14 and 15 - were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for possession of stolen property.
Alert neighbors noticed the teens stealing mail from several boxes about 5 p.m., deputies said. They watched while the teens drove up a dead end road, blocked their exit with a car and called deputies.
Detectives have discovered 41 victims. They are asking anyone who had mail stolen and has not been contacted by the sheriff’s department to call 664-1511. , DataTimes
