Church Disciples Install Leader

The Rev. Jack Sullivan Jr. was installed as the regional minister-president for the Northwest Regional Christian Church Disciples of Christ on Friday.

The installation ceremony was part of the Assembly of the Northwest Regional Christian Church currently taking place at Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park.

Before taking over his current position in May, Sullivan served as the pastor of United Christian Church in Detroit. He has received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, a master’s of divinity degree from the Lexington Theological Seminary, and a doctor of ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary.

Sullivan is based out of the main regional office in Seattle.

Sullivan will be preaching at the All-Assembly worship service at the conference on Sunday, with the congregations and choirs of all the Disciples of Christ churches in Spokane in attendance.
