New Traffic Lights On Us 95 Start Today

Two traffic signals recently installed on U.S. Highway 95 north of Coeur d’Alene will begin operating today, the Idaho Transportation Department said.

The lights are located at the highway’s intersections with Highway 53 and Garwood Road. They were installed to improve safety at both intersections and cost $373,000.

Traffic along that stretch of Highway 95 has increase 22 percent over the past five years.
