Planning Commission Meeting Reset

Lacking a quorum, the Kootenai County planning commission canceled its Monday evening hearing. Only four of seven members were present.

The commission was slated to consider two changes in the county’s comprehensive plan. One change would allow development between Post Falls and Rathdrum on state Highway 41. The other would pave the way for a commercial strip and subdivision east of Athol.

The hearing will be rescheduled in August.
