Sinclair Threatens Holdout

Seattle Post-Intelligencer

Michael Sinclair, one of the Seahawks’ best and best-liked players, says Sinclair will hold out if the club does not renegotiate the contract that will pay him $1.1 million this season.

Sinclair is signed through 2000 after last year’s restructuring of the four-year contract he signed in 1996.

Sinclair signed a four-year, $6.4 million contract two years ago that included a $1.5 million signing bonus.
