Ronald and Thelma Roper, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Airport Ramada Inn on Saturday.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Bob and Linda Carr, Cheney; Neil and Young Suk Roper, Spokane; and John and Marilee Brugger, Chewelah, Wash.

The Ropers were married March 28, 1948, in Garfield, Wash. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
