Mary Milot Spokane
Vigil service for Mary T. Milot, 76, is planned for 5 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wenatchee City Cemetery.
Mrs. Milot, who was born in Spokane and raised in Wenatchee, died Monday.
In 1946, she married Leon Milot in Wenatchee.
She was a 46-year resident of Spokane and was a member of St. Augustine Parish, St. Anne’s Guild, the Spokane Club, two garden clubs and two investment clubs.
Mrs. Milot was also a member of the Manito Golf and Country Club, and was a volunteer with the Lilac Festival Country Association.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Leon; two daughters, Mary Kay Bakken of Batavia, Ill., and Cammie Link of Cathedral City, Calif.; two brothers, Phillip Claassen of Wenatchee and Fred Claassen of Fort Worth, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane or the American Cancer Society.
Philip Ingold Spokane
Visitation for Philip D. Ingold, 77, will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home. Memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Ingold, who was a 40-year resident of Spokane, died Sunday.
He was born in McAlester, Okla., and served in the Army.
In 1971 he married Mable Tetzloff in Coeur d’Alene.
Mr. Ingold worked 34 years as a millwright for Kaiser Aluminum and retired in 1985.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Mable; six stepsons, Glenn and Dale Giese, both of Spokane, Dennis Giese of Germany, Duane Giese of Liberty Lake, Orville Giese of Port Townsend, Wash., and Don Giese of Port Hadlock, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
William ‘Willie’ Lee Elgin, Ore.
Memorial service for William Arthur “Willie” Lee, 34, was April 30 at the Elgin Church of the Nazarene. Burial with military honors followed at the Elgin Cemetery. Daniels Chapel of the Valley in LaGrande, Ore., was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lee, who was born at Fairchild Air Force Base, died April 22.
He was a sergeant with the Army and served in the Persian Gulf War.
After his discharge from the Army, Mr. Lee worked as a budget clerk for the Oregon National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; two daughters, Brandy and Brittany Lee, both at home; a son, William Lee II at home; his mother, Marion Lee of Spokane, and a sister, Peggy Browning of Spokane.
Dorothy Haun Seattle
No service will be held for Dorothy Densow Haun, 88, at her request. Bleitz Funeral Home in Seattle is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Haun, who was born in Wilbur, Wash., died Wednesday.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Cathedral and St. Catherine’s Guild.
Mrs. Haun was a resident of Spokane most of her life and moved to Seattle two years ago.
Her husband, Fred Haun, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie Hanson of Mercer Island, Wash.; a sister, Helen Parr of Spokane; and two granddaughters.
Thomas Burbridge Nine Mile Falls
Funeral for Thomas L. “Tom” Burbridge, 56, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home - North. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mr. Burbridge, who died Monday, was born in Chicago.
He graduated from Bremen High School in Chicago and from Spokane Community College.
Mr. Burbridge served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1986. He did three tours of duty in Vietnam.
In 1963 he married Sandra Poss.
Mr. Burbridge worked for the Postal Service for nine years before retiring in 1998.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dale and Corey Burbridge, both of Nine Mile Falls; two daughters, Cindy Skeie of Spokane and Kim Davis of Helena; his mother, Lucille Burbridge of Spokane; two sisters, Pat Trapp of Spokane and Shirley Welch of Florida; a brother, Gene Rayman of Spokane and seven grandchildren.

June O’Connor Spokane
Visitation for June B. O’Connor, 82, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodland Cemetery in Deer Park.
Mrs. O’Connor, who was born in Deer Park, died Monday.
She graduated from Deer Park High School.
Mrs. O’Connor was a longtime horse breeder and trainer, affiliated with Playfair Race Track.
She was a member of the Washington Horse Breeder’s Association.
Survivors include a son, Vern Mosier of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Jeri Clarke of Fairfield, Calif.; five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Keith Sapp Spokane
Funeral for Keith E. Sapp, 84, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sapp, who was born in Colfax, Wash., died Sunday.
He served in the Navy and then retired as an electrician.
Mr. Sapp moved to Spokane in 1952 and was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, the Electrical Workers Union and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Angeline; two daughters, Lynn Wagner and Tonya McPhee, both of Spokane; a sister, Bernice Carroll of Prosser, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
Lillian Green Spokane
Memorial service for Lillian G. Green, 81, will be at noon Friday at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Green, who died Monday, was a 61-year resident of Spokane.
She was born in Cut Bank, Mont.
She was baptized in the Methodist Church, and was a Master Gardener, involved in ceramics and a member of the Spokane Humane Society.
Mrs. Green owned a sand pit.
Her husband, Bernard, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Pierson of Spokane; two sisters, Mabel Watkins and Dorothy Reynolds, and a brother, Elmer Jackson, all of Spokane; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Loyce Kelly Spokane
No service will be held for C. Loyce Kelly, 86. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home - South is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kelly, who was born in Sikeston, Mo., died Monday.
In 1934, she married Les Kelly in Hanford, Calif., and they lived all over the world during his 40 years with Standard Oil.
They continued to travel as missionaries during their retirement.
Mrs. Kelly participated in the communities where she lived. She was active in church, the Gideons Auxiliary and in youth work.
She moved to Spokane 19 years ago.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Charbonneau of Spokane and Ann King of Palm Desert, Calif.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Fourth Memorial Mission Fund or the Gideons International.
Kenneth Lathrop Wickenburg, Arizona
Private service will be held at a later date for Kenneth J. Lathrop, 71. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wickenburg is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lathrop, a former Spokane resident, died April 29.
He was born in Olympia.
He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Washington State Grange.
Mr. Lathrop was an iron worker and a Spokane resident since 1961.
He and his wife, Iris, spent their winters in Wickenburg for the last 12 years.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Terri Palumbo of Spokane; two sons, Kyle Lathrop of Marshall and Kerry Lathrop of Yakima; a sister, Bertha Hanson of Everett; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Norma Worthen Spokane
Memorial service for Norma Worthen, 72, will be at 10:30 a.m. May 14 at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Worthen, who was born in Tecumseh, Neb., died Sunday.
She lived in Boise during her childhood years and moved to Spokane in 1940.
Mrs. Worthen graduated in 1944 from North Central High School and married Don Worthen in Greenville, Miss., that same year.
She painted sea scapes for various art galleries in Spokane and in Lincoln City, Ore., and taught the art to Spokane artists.
Survivors include her husband and three sisters, Marcene Christoverson of New York City, Verenice Grey of Boise, and Jane Palmer of Anchorage, Alaska.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nazarene Missionary Society.
Edra (Young) Fox Spokane
Visitation for Edra (Young) Fox, 88, will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Evergreen Chapel. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. Fox, who was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, died Monday.
She received her education as a registered nurse in Salt Lake City and later moved to Spokane, where she received a master’s degree in pediatrics in 1935.
After practicing at Sacred Heart Hospital for two years, she met and married Bill Fox in 1939.
Mrs. Fox was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous capacities as a teacher, counselor and youth leader.
She and her husband served a proselytizing mission in Kentucky from 1981 to 1982.
Mrs. Fox, most recently, served as the Cookie Grandma with the church where she awarded cookies to the children in the nursery.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Church, and two sons, James and Charles Fox, all of Spokane; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
James Grendahl Spokane
Funeral for James A. Grendahl, 56, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Peone Prairie Cemetery in Mead.
Mr. Grendahl, a 21-year Spokane resident, died Tuesday.
He was born in Thief River Falls, Minn., and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1474 and the Disabled American Veterans Post 45.
Mr. Grendahl worked for the civil service at Fairchild Air Force Base in ground maintenance.
He was also a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; three sons, Jeff Grendahl of Tacoma, Clifford Grendahl of Glendale, Ariz., and Clarence Grendahl of Davey, Neb.; stepchildren, Mike, Zetta, Roger and Dick Davis, Dennis, David, Diane and Donna DeLozier, all of Spokane; a sister, Carol Nygaard of Fergus Falls, Minn.; two grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Thomas Gallagher Spokane
Funeral for Thomas J. Gallagher, 60, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Fairfield. Born in Crosby, N.D., Mr. Gallagher died Friday.
He graduated in 1955 from North Central High School and had lived in Spokane for 52 years.
Mr. Gallagher worked as a maintenance person in a nursing home.
He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Renee Grandinetti of Valleyford; his mother, Edna Gallagher of Spokane; two brothers, Hank Gallagher of Springdale, Wash., and Leo Gallagher of Minneapolis; and two grandsons.
Kent Whitmore Hauser Lake, Idaho
Private family service for Kent Whitmore, 56, will be held at a later date. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Whitmore, who was born in Idaho Falls, died Monday.
He attended high school in Idaho Falls and then served in the Navy.
Mr. Whitmore settled in Portland after his military discharge and began a career in the floor covering business.
He moved to Spokane in 1976 prior to moving to Hauser Lake in the mid1980s.
Mr. Whitmore worked for Interior Systems of Spokane and also operated Whitmore Flooring from his home in Hauser Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Shelley Whitmore of Vancouver, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Peters of Rathdrum; two sons, Raymond and David Whitmore, both of Spokane; two stepsons, Douglas and Eric Scott, both of Colorado; his mother, Ruth Whitmore Kurtz of Portland; two brothers, Bruce and Gordon Whitmore, both of Arizona; a sister, Gayla Critser of Utah; one grandson; and four stepgrandchildren.
