Grant To Help Pave Black Bay Trail
The city received a $64,000 grant from the Idaho Parks Board to pave a one-mile section of pathway in Black Bay, a city park on the Spokane River.
The city will match the grant with $35,000 and in-kind donations like the use of city equipment and some city materials. The path will connect the Centennial Trail with the Spokane River.
Dave Fair, the city parks and recreation director, said he’s unsure when the city will be able to start paving the Black Bay trail.
