Post Falls Visitor Center Honored

The Idaho Gateway Northwest Visitor Center near Post Falls was recently honored by Gov. Phil Batt.

The center received the “Outstanding Visitor Center Award” given at last week’s governor’s conference on recreation. It was one of 10 individuals and organizations honored.

The center is staffed by volunteer husband and wife teams. It sponsors various special events for travelers, and volunteers participate in continuous training programs to provide first-rate travel information to tourists.
