Taxes Are Too High For Services Rendered

Hank Roseth

Unpublished correction: In the published text, the byline and first paragraph had Roseth’s first name as Frank instead of Hank.

Cover letter

I am Hank Roseth, a candidate for the Idaho State Legislature District 4B. I am a semi-retired successful businessman, actively pursuing the job to represent the people of North Idaho as a citizen legislator.

I am running because I feel strongly that I can make the needed difference for quality, lower cost government for the people of North Idaho.

The taxes are too high for the amount of services rendered. We need strong-willed citizen legislators to champion the cause for lower taxes. We need action, not mere words.

I will fight for: property tax reduction, less government, parental rights, private property rights, greater economic diversification for the Silver Valley with more and better-paying jobs.

My opponent, Don Pischner, and I disagree on a number of basic issues:

Parental consent for teenage abortion - Hank Roseth is for it. Don Pischner voted against it.

Partial birth abortion - Hank Roseth is against it. Don Pischner voted for it.

House Bill 156, 1995, a major piece of legislation for property tax relief passed and signed by Governor Phil Batt - Hank Roseth would have voted for it, Don Pischner voted against it.

A vote for Hank Roseth, as your citizen legislator in the Idaho State Legislature on May 26 is a vote for sound, businesslike, no-nonsense government.
