Scott Helm Portland
Memorial service for Scott E. Helm, 28, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Moscow, Idaho. Fuiten, Rose and Hoyt Funeral Home in Vernonia, Ore., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Helm, a former Pullman resident, who was born in Denver, died May 18 from a seizure disorder.
He was raised in Pullman and graduated from high school there. He then received an associate of arts degree in electrical engineering from Oregon Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Helm moved in 1992 to Portland where he worked as a quality assurance engineer for Intel Corp. at the Jones Farm location in Hillsboro, Ore. He was employed there for three years most recently working in the broadcast products division.
Survivors include his mother, Carole Helm of Moscow; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Robin Helm of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Heather Helm of Fort Collins, Colo., and Hilary Helm of Moscow; his grandparents, David and Ruthe Helm of Spokane and Glenda Horn of Twisp, Wash.

Homer Glasgow Spokane
Funeral for Homer C. Glasgow, 94, is planned for 10 a.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home North. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mr. Glasgow, who was born in Marysville, Mo., died May 19.
In 1926 he married Marie McKinney in Fergus Falls, Minn. They came to the Spokane area 57 years ago and owned Glasgow Roofing and Siding for 40 years.
He retired in 1970.
His wife preceded him in death in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Harold Glasgow of Spokane; two daughters, Luella Catalini and Marlys Luttrull, both of Spokane; six sisters, Audrey Fowser, Dorothy Haugen, Francis Reller, Lottie Standford, and Meryl Carr, all of Oregon, and Esther Mozingo of Reno, Nev.; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
