Detectives Find Couple Dead From Gunshots
An elderly couple suffering from medical problems has died in an apparent murder-suicide at their home, the Ada County Sheriff’s Department said.
In responding to the address, detectives found Frank Portlock, 87, and his wife, Vita, 83, dead from gunshot wounds from a .32-caliber handgun found at the scene.
No suicide note was written, but in reviewing records, detectives found Portlock had prostate cancer and his wife had broken her hip.
