Norman And Helen Backlund Spokane

Norman and Helen Backlund, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. June 7 at their home.

Hosts for the open house will be their children and spouses: Jon Backlund and Robin Vasconcelos, and Jeri and Lonny McNett, all of Spokane; and Jeff and Dagmar Backlund, Sichweinfurt, Germany.

The Backlunds were married June 4, 1948, in Spokane. They have eight grandchildren.
