ANALYSIS

May the best defense win. Seattle, while surrendering lots of yardage, has yielded just 135 points, third-fewest in the NFL. The Seahawks “D” has scored 35 points for a differential of 100 points, No. 1 in the NFL. Oakland, with the addition of cornerback Charles Woodson and the emergence of second-year tackle Darrell Russell, have allowed 158 points while scoring 28, fourth-best in the league. Oakland snagged five turnovers in defeating Seattle two weeks ago in the Kingdome, but it’ll be difficult to repeat if Seattle takes care of the ball. It’s another must win for Seattle against a roughly equivalent opponent. Seahawks 24, Raiders 20.
