Spotlight: Fun Run

Work up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner at the annual Turkey Trot fun run Thanksgiving day at the Manito Park duck pond.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. with 2-, 3- and 5-mile runs beginning at 9. Entry fee is a donation of cash or food for the Spokane Food Bank. (The sponsoring Bloomsday Roadrunners Club encourages cash contributions, “since the Food Bank has 10 to 1 buying power.”)

Pets and strollers won’t be permitted on the course. Hot apple cider awaits the runners.
