Police Check Possible Rape

A woman’s complaint that a co-worker assaulted her in his car has police investigating a possible rape.

The 43-year-old Worley woman told police on Thursday that the man asked her for a ride home after their shifts ended at a fast-food restaurant. She said the man directed her to drive an obscure route and told her to pull into an alley.

When the car stopped, he kissed the woman, fondled her and forced her to perform a sex act, according to a police report. He then threatened to harm the woman if she told anyone and got out of the car, the report said.

Police said the woman, who is new to the area, was not certain where the attack occurred. She told police it happened about midnight Wednesday.
