Bi-County Goes Down To The Wire
The Bi-County League football race will come down to one final game for bragging rights.
Davenport defeated Odessa 33-0 and Ritzville topped Wilbur-Creston 19-6 on Friday to set up a title-at-stake game. Davenport (5-0 league) will play at Ritzville (4-1) on Friday.
Liberty completed its league play at 5-1. The Lancers will be in the state playoffs if Davenport defeats Ritzville. If Ritzville wins, there will be a three-way tie with two state berths at stake.

John Steele rushed for 218 yards on 20 carries as the fourth-ranked Gorillas (7-1 overall) defeated the visiting Tigers (5-3, 2-3).
Davenport finished with 333 yards rushing and four interceptions, two apiece by Mark Swain and Mark Hall. Sean Smith had 88 yards on 18 carries for Odessa, which finished with 215 total yards.

Josh Draper rushed for 138 yards on 29 carries as the Broncos (6-2) defeated the visiting Wildcats (4-4, 2-4).
Ritzville quarterback Dustan Arlt added 12 carries for 50 yards. Matt Bryant of W-C gained 33 yards on 13 carries.

The visiting and eighth-ranked Cardinals (5-2, 4-1) clinched a playoff spot by holding the Nighthawks (3-4, 2-3) to 5 yards rushing on 25 carries.
T-O was sacked for minus-52 yards in the game. Waitsburg scored with 22 seconds left in the first half, a little more than 1 minute after the Nighthawks had pulled within one. Waitsburg finished with 402 total yards.
