Sandy Maria Gere exchanged wedding vows with Charlie Robert Zimmerman III in a July 18 ceremony at the home of the bride’s father in Ione, Wash.

The bride is the daughter of Richard Gere, Ione, and Vothi Gere, Gig Harbor, Wash. The bridegroom is the son of Charles R. Zimmerman Jr., Spokane, and Candy Brooks, Olympia.

A reception was at Papa’s Place in Ione. The Zimmermans are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
