Bartel, Mace Hold Book Events
Saturday offers book-lovers a distinct choice of literary events.
At 11:30 a.m., Frank Bartel, author of the novel “World That Never Was,” will read from his book at the Coeur d’Alene Hastings, 101 Best Ave.
Between 5 and 8 p.m., Frank Mace, author of the war memoir “The Story of Wake Island: The Life of a War Prisoner of the Japanese for 44 Months,” will sign copies of his book at the Valley Hastings at Sprague and Sullivan.
Both events are free and open to the public.
