Jean Doolittle Priest River, Idaho
Memorial service for Jean Doolittle, 83, was Monday at Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Priest River.
Mrs. Doolittle, who died Sept. 6, was born in Lamont, Wash.
In 1935 she married Wallace Doolittle in Sandpoint.
She worked as a legal secretary for many years and later worked as a secretary at Murray Equipment.
Mrs. Doolittle was a member of the Pend Oreille Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister, Marie Hayes of Salem, Ore.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Rosalie Weller Spokane
Funeral Mass for Rosalie S. Weller, 87, is planned for 10 a.m. today at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennssey Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Weller, who was born in Orofino, Idaho, died Friday.
She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy and moved to Spokane. In 1934 she married Frank Weller.
Mrs. Weller most recently worked as a bookkeeper in a pharmacy.
Her husband died in 1997.
Survivors include three daughters, Gail Bellinger and Mary Agee, both of Spokane, and Sallie Newlun of Waverly; a son, Terry Weller of Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, John Shreve of San Diego and Joe Shreve of San Francisco; a sister, Winnie Weller of Spokane; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the St. Charles Altar Society.
Delores Jarnigan Post Falls
No service will be held for Delores D. Jarnigan, 66, at her request. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jarnigan, who was born in Snoqualmie, Wash., died Sunday.
She lived in North Bend, Wash., for 30 years before moving to Post Falls six years ago.
Mrs. Jarnigan worked as a bookkeeper.
Her husband, Leonard, died in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Lani Kenner of Waterville, Wash., and Terri Drymon of San Diego; a stepdaughter, Roxanne Wilson of Everett; a stepson, David Jarnigan of Marysville, Wash.; and four grandchildren, Devin, Erin, Destiny and Sadie.
Harold Walley Coeur d’Alene
Private service for Harold M. Walley, 81, was Monday at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.
Mr. Walley, who was born in Montana, died Thursday.
He lived in Wallace and worked for various mines before moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1971.
Mr. Walley retired from mining in 1982.
He was a member of the Wallace Elks Lodge and the Episcopal Church in Wallace.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Clara; a son, Gale Walley of Post Falls; two daughters, Colleen Walley of Ellensburg and Lynn Brower of Pinehurst, Idaho; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Charlotte Hoyer Sandpoint
Memorial service for Charlotte Rachel Hoyer, 78, will be Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Sandpoint United Methodist Church. Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Hoyer, who was born in Rhode Island, died Sunday.
She grew up and attended schools in Rhode Island and then graduated from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
Ms. Hoyer then served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II as a captain.
She later moved to California and taught elementary school and obtained library credentials and worked as a librarian for the Saratoga, Calif., school district, where she wrote a technical grant.
She then worked for an Arabian language word processor manufacturing company in California before moving to Sandpoint in 1985.
Ms. Hoyer worked for the Bonner County School District as a media consultant, retiring in 1997 but remaining active as a consultant for the district.
She helped establish free local Internet access in Sandpoint.
Ms. Hoyer was a member of the United Methodist Church, the American Association of University Women, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Youth Accountability Board and was a candidate for the Idaho State Library board.
She was an elected trustee for the East Bonner Library District and a board member of the Panhandle Community Net.
Survivors include two children, Edward Hoyer of Virginia, and Melody Martz of Elmira, Idaho; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arthur Leland Kellogg
Graveside service for Arthur H. Leland, 85, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Murray (Idaho) Cemetery. Shoshone Funeral Service in Kellogg is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Leland, who was born in Troy, Idaho, died Saturday.
He moved to the Silver Valley in 1915 and worked as a farm laborer.
Survivors include a niece, Billie Jean Leland of Nevada; and numerous cousins.
Herbert ‘Dune’ Williams Jr. Ford, Wash.
Funeral service for Herbert D. “Dune” Williams Jr., 23, was Monday at the Spokane Tribal Longhouse. Burial will be at the Wellpinit Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Williams, who was born in Chewelah, Wash., died Thursday in a one-car accident.
He graduated from Wellpinit High School in 1992 and worked at Spokane Indian Bingo and Casino in the hard-money count department for more than a year.
Mr. Williams was a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia, and a daughter, Alana, both of Ford; his mother, Gloria Williams of Ford; and his grandmothers, Lavinia Felsman of Idaho and Nancy Williams of Wellpinit, Wash.
Fred Becker Moses Lake
Funeral for Fred Becker, 87, will be at 11 a.m. today at Heritage United Church of Christ in Odessa, Wash. Burial will be at the Odessa Cemetery. Strate Funeral Home in Odessa is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Becker, who was born in Ritzville, Wash., died Friday.
He farmed near Harrington, Wash., until his retirement in 1979 and then moved to Spokane. He moved to Moses Lake in 1996.
Mr. Becker was a member of Heritage United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; a daughter, Carol Maurer of Moses Lake; a brother, Henry Becker of Ritzville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Alma Hanna Greenacres
Funeral for Alma N. S. Hanna, 82, was Monday at Cheney Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Hanna, who was born in Meadowlands, Minn., died Thursday.
She worked as a hairstylist in California for many years before moving to Greenacres 15 years ago.
Survivors include her husband, James; a son, James Hanna of Trout Creek, Mont.; two daughters, Cyndia Hanna of Fullerton, Calif., and Kimberly Hanna of Santa Margarita, Calif.; and one grandchild.
