Sandpoint To Consider Bids On 911 Remodeling
City officials will consider bids for the remodeling of City Hall to house the combined 911 dispatch center at its meeting tonight.
One construction company has asked the council to reject all bids so more information can be provided to the bidders. Another company bid $37,493.
Beginning in October, county and city 911 services will operate jointly out of City Hall.
The council also will consider amending the city’s sign code, which hasn’t been updated for 11 years. The suggested changes would allow businesses more flexibility in the colors of their signs and allow some neon on exterior signs.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1123 W. Lake Street.
