Drollinger, Severson Lead Mead Over Ferris

Thu., Sept. 24, 1998

Lindsay Drollinger and Jill Severson knocked in first-half goals Wednesday to lead visiting Mead to a 2-1 victory over Ferris in a non-league soccer game between Greater Spokane League schools.

Rachel Lassman scored for Ferris.

In other non-leaguers, Lewis and Clark followed a Rogers own-goal with scores by Kara MacKenzie and Erica Ashenbrener to post a 3-0 win over the Pirates at Hart Field.

At CV, Central Valley used a first-half goal from Raenna Jewell and added a second half score to defeat North Central 2-0.

At Mt. Spokane, University blanked the Wildcats 3-0 on second-half goals from Heather Sale, Casey Lektorich and Kara Jordan.
