Logging Accident Kills Osburn Man

A logging accident Friday morning killed a 47-year-old man on Custer Peak.

The victim was identified as Dennis L. Miller of Osburn. The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department said Miller had been working for Miller Logging when he was hit by a falling tree about 9 a.m.

Miller was taken to Shoshone Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Sheriff’s investigators are working to determine the details of the accident.
