Young Inventors Win State Honors

Thu., April 15, 1999

Several young North Idaho inventors won honors at the state Invention Convention in Boise last month.

They were W. Cody Capaul, Ramsey Elementary; Clayton Elliott, Priest River Elementary; Trevor Moody, John Brown Elementary; Jamie Raye Prety, John Brown Elementary; Katelyn Hagen, Garwood Elementary; Micah Doering and Chris Katus, John Brown Elementary; and Kayla Rising, Hayden Meadows Elementary.

More than 200 students ages 6 to 14, with 160 inventions, participated in the seventh-annual competition at the Discovery Center of Idaho.
