‘Giant’ Step For Cartoons
It’s rare for worthwhile family films to come along. It’s even rarer for family films to come along that are as good as “The Iron Giant.” Simple enough to interest the very young (though parents will have to read them such screen directions as “37 minutes later”) yet complex enough in theme and execution to intrigue the very old, “The Iron Giant” is proof that Disney isn’t the only studio capable of creating quality animated adventures. Thank you, Warner Brothers.
