Book reviewed: “The Seat of the Soul” (Fireside, 256 pages, $13 paper) by Gary Zukav.
Group representative: Evelyn Florio.
The review: Zukav, author of the American Book Award-winning “The Dancing Wu Li Masters,” extends his study to the very nature of the human soul. To Zukav, humans are “immortal souls” first, physical beings second. “We’ve had a very lively discussion about it because of the themes that he raises,” Florio says. “Some people are skeptical…. There has been some discussion about what he really means, and what does it mean in terms of our everyday lives.”
