Three Cheers For ‘Sixth Sense’
Benefitting from a terrific performance by 11-year-old Haley Joel Osment (he played Forrest Junior in “Forrest Gump”), “The Sixth Sense” is an intriguing modern-day ghost story that doubles as a study of healing. Haunted and emotionally troubled by the real ghosts who haunt his every waking moment, Osment’s character turns for help to a children’s psychologist, well played by an understated Bruce Willis. The result is both chilling and fulfilling. Suggestion: Don’t leave early.
