John A. And Ruby I. Streit Spokane

John Andrew and Ruby Irene Streit celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 13-15 with a family gathering at Newman Lake.

Hosting the event were their children and spouses: Jonnie Kae and Ron Anderson, Woodinville, Wash., and Tom and Kim Streit, Park City, Utah.

The Streits were married Aug. 26, 1939, in Spokane. They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
