Literacy Training Set In Post Falls
The Idaho State Library will sponsor an intensive training session in Post Falls Sept. 28-29 for librarians, child-care providers and others who work with young children.
Called “Begin With Books II,” the workshop will focus on new brain research, emergent literacy and how libraries and others can help shape young children’s early literacy experiences.
The workshop, funded by the J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Foundation, is limited to 50 people, and there is no fee. Costs to travel or attend the conference may be covered for some participants.
For more information and registration, contact Pamela Bradshaw at the state library, (800) 458-3271.
