Cougs Add Defensive Lineman
Faafetai Tupai of Monterey, Calif., on Thursday became the latest high school football player to sign with Washington State University.
Tupai is a 6-foot-4, 298-pound defensive lineman out of Monterey High School who had been highly rated by several recruiting agencies. He was born in Seattle.
Tupai will enroll at WSU in the fall.
Jake Roberts, a wide receiver from University High School, is among the football recruits announced by Central Washington University. Roberts, 6-foot-3, 185, was a first-team All-GSL pick after catching 49 passes for 692 yards and seven touchdowns.
