For A Challenging Time, Cross The ‘Thin Red Line’

Ask yourself this: Why do you go to the movies? If your answer is that you like to be provoked as well as entertained, then check out Terrence Malick’s “The Thin Red Line.” It’s not just another reminiscence of World War II, that cataclysmic struggle of a half century ago. In fact, it may be like nothing you’ve ever seen. And while it certainly isn’t a flawless creation, it is provocative. In that sense at the very least, it’s definitely entertaining.
