Balanced G-Prep Gets Past Mead

Gonzaga Prep used a balanced attack to pull away from Mead in the second half for a 64-46 Greater Spokane League boys basketball win at Mead.

After a scorching first quarter Tuesday night that ended in a 16-16 tie, the Bullpups eased to a 27-22 edge at the half.

Andy Zelinski scored a game-high 17 points for Mead. Matty McIntyre and Adam Frankovic led Prep with 12 points apiece.
