Bucke Aide Arrested
Hours after turning himself into authorities early Monday morning after being charged Saturday with assaulting his ex-wife, Ohio State University offensive coordinator Mike Jacobs was placed on paid administrative leave by the university.
Jacobs, a member of the Buckeyes’ football coaching staff since 1995, was being held without bond in Franklin County Jail on misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and assault.
The complaint against Jacobs accuses the 5-foot-10, 190-pound coach of pulling Robbin Jacobs’ hair, “striking her across the face and both eyes, causing swollen blackened eyes.” The incident happened at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday in Columbus.
