Ministry Workshop

A workshop on the Ministry of Prayer and Healing will be offered the first weekend of February at Knox Presbyterian Church, 806 W. Knox.

Hours will be 7 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 6.

The workshop is open to elders and deacons of all denominations as well as those who simply want to learn how to minister effectively.

Topics include praying for a variety of needs, understanding and using spiritual gifts, Jesus’ model of ministry, practical guidelines related to prayer ministry, and common obstacles to praying for the sick.

Cost is $15 per person or for a couple and includes all materials. Registrations must be received by Jan. 31.
