‘Enemy Of The State’

“Patch Adams” was more intriguing than “Private Ryan” to video consumers last week. But “Enemy of the State” was still the most popular video rental with another $6.28 million in its second week of release, according to the VSDA Vidtrac data tracking service. Forty-five percent more copies of “Patch Adams” were rented than “Ryan” for the week ending June 27. In its first week of release, “Patch Adams” generated $5.56 million in revenue, well ahead of the $4.19 million for “Ryan” in its fifth week of release.
