June Cowley Anderson Bonners Ferry, Idaho

Service for June LaRue Cowley Anderson, 77, will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Paradise Valley Cemetery near Bonners Ferry.

Mrs. Anderson, who was born in Hugo, Colo., died Wednesday.

She lived in Colorado before moving to Bonners Ferry in 1934 and attended schools there.

Mrs. Anderson completed a post graduate course before spending a year at a girl’s finishing school in Coeur d’Alene.

She moved to California during World War II and married Gordon Elledge. They later divorced.

She owned a seamstress shop with her mother in California, and designed and made children’s clothing.

Mrs. Anderson returned to Bonners Ferry and married Charles Kimball. They later divorced.

She married Herb Anderson in the 1970s and they divorced.

Mrs. Anderson was active with 4-H and won many ribbons at the Boundary County Fair.

Survivors include a son, Clinton Kimball of Naples, Idaho; a daughter, Victoria Elledge of Phoenix.; a sister, Reta Baney of Shelton, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

Paul Roller Dunedin, Fla.

Memorial service for Paul Roller, a former 55-year Spokane resident, was held in Clearwater, Fla.

Mr. Roller, who was born in Minot, N.D., died June 22. He was 78.

He worked as a driver and in sales in the Spokane area for many years.

Mr. Roller moved to Florida a year ago and was a member of the East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Clearwater.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; two sons, Chet and Steve Roller; a daughter, Sharon; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Adam Youngman Spokane

Private service will be held for Adam L. Youngman, 88. Hennessey Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Youngman, who was born in Saratov, Russia, died Wednesday.

He immigrated to the United States in 1914, settling in the Palouse area and later moving to Spokane.

Mr. Youngman worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad in 1940 and retired from the railroad in 1980.

He married Agatha Abel in 1941.

Mr. Youngman was a member of a senior bowling league.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James Youngman of Spokane; a brother, Donald Youngman of Lewiston; three sisters, Kay Tone of Tacoma, Paula Morash of Endicott, Wash., and Eva Rummer of Ritzville, Wash.

Barbara Bailey Fort Wayne, Ind.

Memorial service for Barbara L. Bailey, a former longtime Spokane resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shadle Park Presbyterian Church in Spokane.

Mrs. Bailey, who was born and raised in Astoria, Ore., died June 30. She was 67.

She graduated from Astoria High School, followed by two years at a community college.

Mrs. Bailey worked at Pine View Group Home in Spokane for several years.

She was a volunteer with various community and nonprofit organizations, including the Red Cross and Goodwill.

Mrs. Bailey moved to Fort Wayne two years ago, where she has been a member of the Peace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Uffleman of Fort Wayne; a son, Steven Bailey of Portland; a brother, Arnold McClarin of Mead; two nephews, a niece and four grandchildren.
