Portland singer Linda Hornbuckle performs at Pavillion Park this Saturday as part of the Liberty Lake summer concert series.

Hornbuckle performs a hybrid of soul, gospel, blues and funk. When she was 6, she began singing in the Grace & Truth Pentecostal Church pastored by her father. These days she’s made a name for herself in the Northwest with her dynamic and beautiful voice.

She says of her music: “It comes from my heart, from my center … music is a passion for me. When I’m singing about pain, I want to show the pain … but I also like to make the pain go away. I want to make you feel wonderful.”

The performance Saturday is free to the public and begins at 7 p.m. Take Interstate 90 to the Liberty Lake exit. Signs will direct you to the park.
