Luke Runyan Finishes Coast Guard Basic Training
U.S. Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice Luke Runyan graduated from basic military training at Tte Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, N.J.
His first tour of duty will be aboard the high-endurance Coast Guard cutter Midgett in the Persian Gulf.
Runyan, a 1997 graduate of Mead High School, is the son of Pat and Tana Runyan, Spokane.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Tait Delzer graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Delzer, a 1998 graduate of Lakeside High School, is the son of Laurie Walther, Nine Mile Falls, and Gary Delzer, Spokane.
Jessica Fielder has been selected by America’s Homecoming Queen Inc. as Washington’s Homecoming Queen. She will receive a cash scholarship plus an expense-paid trip to California to compete with finalists from other states this summer.
Fielder, Deer Park High School’s homecoming queen, is the daughter of Butch and Tonie Fielder, Deer Park.
