The Miami Dolphins signed free-agent linebacker Dixon Edwards to a one-year contract, adding depth and experience at the outside position, the team said.
Edwards, 31, who spent the past three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, started 14 games last season, registering 56 tackles and one fumble recovery.
Former Stanford University golfer Joel Kribel will play in his first tournament as a pro at this week’s Buick Classic in Westchester, N.Y.
Kribel, arguably the best golfer to come out of Stanford since Tiger Woods, has been granted a sponsor’s exemption for the PGA Tour event.
