Resource Directory Available

The 1999 edition of a directory of local nonprofit agencies is available.

The Community Resource Directory, which is compiled by Information and Referral/Volunteer Connection Inc., includes more than 850 agencies. The agencies listed provide quality-of-life and assistance services throughout the five northern counties of Idaho.

Information and Referral provides free copies of the directories to all patrol and detective vehicles for law enforcement agencies. Everyone else can obtain them for $15 each from the Health Resource Center at Kootenai Medical Center or by calling (208) 667-6400. There are discounts for ordering multiple copies.

Information and Referral/Volunteer Connection Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to maintain a centralized, computerized and all-inclusive information and referral database to provide the link between people in need and available resources.
